Lawrence Council Installation Meeting
 
On a damp Thursday evening members of the Lawrence Council together with several guests assembled at the Masonic Hall in Chorley to witness two excellent ceremonies.

After the meeting was opened by the Master, Terry Maybury welcomed the District Grand Junior Warden Stuart Mowbray thanking him for his attendance hoping he would enjoy his visit; also attending was Frank Clarke, Dist Grand Senior Warden.

Terry Maybury then invited Paul Snape Dep. District Grand Prefect to undertake the next business, to admit two new members to the Degree of St.Lawrence the Martyr, Bro Bernard Davenport and Bro. Brian Flynn.

Paul Snape then led the team of Officers and carried out a well worked ceremony, the lecture in this Degree was presented by Richard Higson. Paul Snape then invited Terry Maybury to reoccupy the Chair of the Lodge.

The next business was to Install as Master Bro. John Lancaster, the Installation was carried out by Terry Maybury which was appreciated by all present.
Refreshment after Labour!!
Following the Installation, the District Grand Junior Warden congratulated W.Bro. John Lancaster on becoming Master of Lawrence Council, wishing him well for the future. He also commented on the high standard of Ritual worked in both the Installation Ceremony and the Ceremony of St.Lawrence the Martyr, he also welcomed to the Order Bro. Bernard Davenport and Bro. Brian Flynn wishing them many years of enjoyment in the Order.
